How did we get here?

When did the world shut down...Was it in 2020? Was it that long ago?
Well...When the world shut down my wife and I were serving at a church about 45 minutes from home. Each Sunday, and at least one week day, we would drive past our little vineyard near the entrance to our county road. Often on those drives I would wonder, “If we had church at the vineyard would people attend? Would our community respond to the opportunity of a biblical community in our area?”
A few months later, one Sunday morning, we were on our regular commute to church when my wife asked, "What if we just had church at the vineyard?" I looked over and said, "Well that's a cool idea!" God works like that sometimes, doesn't He?
After "polling" some of our friends in the community, and sharing the vision of Church at the Vineyard for the community, if they would be interested, they, of course, said, "YES"! We followed up with the vineyard owners to see if they would be ok with us having Church before they opened on Sundays and they said "YES"! Funny how God works like that, isn't it?
My wife and I made a commitment to kick off 6 weeks of gatherings back in 2020 to see how it would go and you can fast forward to now and here we are still on mission to meet the need for Biblical Community, Spiritual Connection and Discipleship in our area. You cannot imagine what God has done in our community over the past few years. The Church Body has come together and grown so much!
